Dr Richard Yang, currently the General Manager of Air BP China in BP (China) Holding Company Limited, is responsible for the aviation division in the China region, and has extensive industry and business management experience.

Prior to joining BP, Dr Yang was Managing Director at A Bearing Capital (“ABC”), Senior Vice President, Asia & General Manager, China, at TPI Composites Group. Before that, he held numerous leadership positions in China at SKF Group including Vice President, Director and General Manager of its Automotive, Strategic Industries, Heavy Industries and Services businesses in China.

Dr Yang graduated from Huazhong University of Science & Technology with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a PhD in business administration from West Coast University and has a Master of Business Administration from Columbia South University in the United States.
